#BARISAN : BA-NA-NA Arisan Chapter I

Halo Everyone!!!

It's beeeeeeennn a looooooong time right? :( I've been busy with my final task and JKT Movement of Inspirations Project. Speaking of it, JKTMoveIn for short is a Musical Drama that I've been involved. The story about it is about life of high school, and I got a small part in here. This is my first experience to be involved in a Musical Drama, I'm so excited about this from the first time that they announced this project would be inspiring youth.

So, I would love to share a story from #BARISAN. This idea came up when we (BA-NA-NA peeps) saw Gaby instagram's update of her n her friends having Arisan. Showing the fun of being together and wearing a dress-code (for those who wanna see, please check her Instagram). And we thought "Wow,kenapa kita gak bikin Arisan juga ya?". Well, actually the main point of Arisan wasn't only about saving money but it's the gathering that we were looking for. 'cause we all had been busy with our activities,so Ka Bintang made #BARISAN : BA-NA-NA Arisan. The theme was chosen by Ka Bena, the Wizards & the Witches. But it's gone : All Black.

I'm so happy about this #BARISAN event! Even tho I didn't join the Arisan, but having a quality time together with is priceless! Let me introduce them one by one, from left standing person is Nanda's Boyfriend, Nanda, Ardina, Gerry, Me, and Dhino. And from right sitting person is Ka Bena, Ka Vendryana, Ka Bintang, Gerry's Girlfriend ; Gaby (polkadot dress), and Natasha.

After having Arisan, we did a photoshoot with our dresscode. They were really awesome (can you tell?). The pictures were photographed by Benakribo and some of them edited by me :) Enjoy!

So two days ago, when I was hosting in a Very GaGa Gathering (will post this soon on my blog), I got a little surprise from my Instagram notification. BOOM!

And I was like "which photo of mine did they take/tag?" since it has been a long time I tag or put #lookbookindonesia on my photo. But they picked a photo of mine with caption "CAPTION THIS!", no #lookbookindonesia #ootd #fashion or another hashtag for its caption. It's so weird, but it's OK as long as I got featured ;)

Sorry for being exaggerated. Maybe it is a little thing or common thing for anyone but me. Cause it is one of my DREAMS and it is coming true, being featured for fashion site or something like that. And I have a lot of DREAMS that I wanna achieve, but the main of it is being famous :p

Finally, I've got my time to write on my blog and to change my blog too.. Yap, if you realize that my URL has changed from :

> RAVIAGUSTIANA.BLOGSPOT.COM
Ok, the main reason why I changed it was because that using my full name would be classy, no alias and I hope people can remember it easily :)

About the background, in order to support the classy and simple, so I made a Black-White Box (looks like a chessboard, doesn't it?). But since simple isn't completely written in my self, then I add some glamorous touch with Gold Lions ; symbolize of my horoscope, Leo ; that I found from clker.com :)

Do you notice anything else changed?

Yes, the header. The header it self was made by my self too with google and other artists helps of course :D
So I still used the chessboard as the background of the header but it doesn't have gold lions on it but I add a Versace circle with Lion Head (well, I actually I want to make it gold, but I don't know how, so It's still black). And I add a what is it called umm, I totally forgot, but it's from Egyptian (I adore Egypt incase you didn't know) and put my initial R for Ravi and A for Agustiana.

First Birthday's Gift from Classmates Evolution!!!

Hey Fellows :)

How are you doing?
I hope you guys are doing well..
Me? Well,right now I'm having a romantic relationship with SKRIPSI.. (well said)

So, in order to you know having a distraction from this complicated relationship, I was trying to remember happy memories from being a student in campus. One of 'em is getting a birthday gift.
I have this tradition with class mateys when someone is having his/her birthday, then we give em a surprise gift that fundamentally gathered  by us (except the birthday person).

I got a pair of shoes. They were really comfy till the time took it all :(

FYI, I'm kind of people who believe that a thing (whether it's clothes or anything) which is given by other people to us is contain pray, memory and love. So, I'm going to keep it forever as I can. But this time is special cause I'm gonna try a #DIY for my first Birthday Gift.. Check 'em out!!

The process was so easy (I'm doing this while having my rest-session from my relationship). Just attach some spikes or another shining attachment the shoes area with hot glue, but I suggest you to attach it on the outside area..

 

After attaching the spikes, and the last touch is to pair em with a color block shoe lace :D

Indonesia Fashion Week 2014

Hello Fellows :))

What's Up??
Woah, last week was really like my dreams come true (almost,  cuz I have a lot of dreams). Having a moment in Indonesian Fashion Week 2014, watching the fashion show, looking around the stands that sell a lot of great stuff and meeting a lot of fashionable and fabulous  people! I went to Indonesian Fashion Week day 2 and day 4..

DAY 2

Obsessed with this!!!

It was actually the first day I touched the land of Jakarta again after came back from my home town to visit my beloved Mother, she's sick (but now she is fine ^^ if you're asking). I went to IFW from the noon until afternoon. I saw a lot of creative and very Indonesia-ness details and cultures (Batik, Songket and others). And incase you don't know, I do really adore Batik! There weren't only Fashion Show, Exhibition but IFW 2014 there was also Talk Show.

Fortunately kak Bintang's mother was having a stand there called Maysuda (Kebaya and Embroidery) and I could borrow an IFW ID Card for exhibitors so I could watch the Fashion Show for FREE :)) Yay!

That was the first time I sat and watched the Fashion Show here in Jakarta.

There was little glitch cuz the theme of the fashion show for that day is for Women's Wear :') It was okay, but It would be very great if the theme was for the Men's Wear too,so I could take some inspiration, right?

After watching the Fashion Show, I went back to Maysuda's Booth to permit for  going home, cuz I was very tired and having my train-lag hahaha..

DAY 4

 

Sunday!! And thank god the weather was really nice that day.. I was going to watch Laurier's Thin Is In fashion show with Kak Bintang, Kak Bena and Kak Vendryana.. But unfortunately they couldn't make it, because the show was not on time, so they had to leave the building, before the show started..
Thin Is In is a Fashion Show of KLE // 8Eri // Hunting Fields & Danjyo Hiyoji. Which one is my favorite? If I should choose one, I would  choose Danjyo Hiyoji. The show was started with a sword show and continued with the collection parade ^^

I was having a good time right there :) Wish I could be more involved in a fashion event in the future ^^
